Vibration-Fear? What is it for you?

Do you have fear of… asserting yourself, making decisions, changing jobs, being alone, aging, losing a loved one, ending a relationship; all or even some of the above?  Join the crowd!  Fear seems to be an epidemic in our society…  we fear beginnings, we fear endings,  we fear changing,  we fear “staying stuck”, we fear success, we fear failure, we fear living, we fear dying…. get the picture…. fear affects you at every level of your being.

I have come to believe that fear is simply an educational problem, “we need to re-educate our minds, thoughts and actions”. If your life is run by fear, it will be no surprise that you hang onto things in your life that no longer serve you.   We are taught fear…by our parents, teachers and society… just as they were taught.

Do you experience that little voice “chatter” inside your head that keeps telling you, “you’d better not make that change, don’t take a chance”. Does life seem dull and a bit lonely?

It was once said, “When the student is ready, the teacher(s) will appear. Begin by attending inspirational seminars, retreats, classes and reading positive books….. reading this blog  (thank you for being my guest here; you are off to a good start).

You must unlearn the thinking that has kept you in bondage of making changes in your life, such as career, relationships, not living your passion.

Change is a process; it requires action…..the process, when you apply it to your daily life, it will transform your life. You must un-learn negative thinking and re-learn positive thinking - to shift your thoughts (vibration) and take action (stop procrastinating)- I am not saying that change is easy…. I am saying that learning to change your thinking is required. Remember, a single thought affects all of your being.

Look at the fears you have no control over, aging, the weather, children leaving home, natural disasters, dying…. And so forth… focus on what you do have control over, changing careers, moving, making friends, your relationships…. these simply require positive thoughts and action, and will shift your vibrations/energy.

Thought is energy too… thought translates to feelings, feelings bring up emotions, emotions promote our next action, our actions and responses to any situation live in our cell memory and body. Negative thoughts/vibrations create dis-ease and blockages in your personal energy fields. So you can see how a single thought affects you.  Reiki is a relaxing, non-invasive way to balance, harmonize and promote healing in your personal energy field.
(I will talk more about Reiki later).

Fear can be broken down into three levels:

First level is the surface story
examples of level one fear:

Those that “happen”

  • aging
  • illness/disabled
  • being alone
  • natural disasters
  • dying
  • war
  • accidents

Those “require action”

  • making decisions’
  • change career
  • making friends
  • end or begin a relationship
  • quitting an addiction
  • asserting yourself
  • making a mistake

You may have a few you can add to your personal list.  One of the insidious qualities of fear is that it tends to permeate many areas of our lives. For example: if you fear making friends, it then stands to reason you also may fear going to parties, having intimate relationships, applying for jobs and so forth…

Second level has to do with inner states of mind rather than exterior situations
examples of level two fears:

Those that “happen”

  • rejection
  • success
  • failure
  • being vulnerable

Those “require action”

  • being conned
  • helplessness
  • disapproval
  • loss of image

They reflect your sense of self and your ability to handle this world: if you are afraid of being rejected, this fear will affect almost every area of you life; friends, relationships, jobs, family and so forth… so you begin to protect yourself, and, as a result, greatly limit yourself- you begin to shut down and close out the world around you.

The third level gets down to the “nitty-gritty” of the issue: the biggest fear of all- the one that keeps you stuck, are you ready…“I can’t handle it!” that’s it! that’s the big deal! I know you’re disappointed and wanted something much more dramatic then that.  But the truth is this:  at the bottom of every one of your fears is simply the fear that you can’t handle whatever life may bring you.

Fears translate to:

  • I can’t handle aging
  • I can’t handle illness
  • I can’t handle being alone…. and so forth… got the picture!

The truth is: if you knew you could handle anything that came your way, what would you possibly have to fear?  NOTHING!  All you have to do to diminish your fear is to develop more trust in your ability to handle whatever comes your way!

I deliver this point with a punch, because it is so critical. From this moment on, every time you feel afraid, remind yourself that it is simply because you are not feeling good enough about yourself.  It is just a new experience.  I tell you all of that; to tell you this, “again” - “thought is energy” it affects everything in your life.

Re-educate yourself, shifting thought patterns; positive thoughts and outlooks when any situation is before you, ask yourself- “does it require an action - what old beliefs no longer serve me?” change your thought patterns and reactions that you were taught by your parents, grandparents, teachers and society that no longer serve you.  Be willing to take action! Re-educating yourself is the beginning of a life changing, energy shifting, balancing and joyful life!  Yes you can and know that you are worth it!

You get what you get, when you do what you do! Okay, are you getting the picture…..  there is no victim, no one to blame….If you have read this far,  you are ready for some change in your life!

So you may be asking yourself, what does this have to do with Reiki?
Everything –
You can alter your energy flow in response to your thoughts and feelings.
When you slow down or block the energy flow by accepting consciously and unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about yourself, all levels of our being, including the physical are affected.  A Reiki treatment moves universal energy through our system to balance, bring harmony and promote healing at all levels, mental, spiritual and physical.  Reiki assists slow or blocked energies to break up, and disperse allowing your life force (energy) to flow in its natural state.  Reiki practitioner channels energy in a particular pattern to balance your life force (energy), it restores order when the body’s vital energy has become unbalanced.

Reiki Energy is a subtle energy coming from a higher power, existing on a higher dimension than the physical world.  Reiki is within us, coming from a transcendental part of ourselves that is connected to infinite supply of universal healing energy.  “Rei” pronounced: “ray” means: spiritually guided wisdom from God.  “Ki” prounounced: “key” means: life-force energy. Reiki is translated from Japanese.

A Reiki (Reiki intro) treatment is very relaxing, the recipient would lay on a Reiki table, the Reiki practitioner or Reiki Master, places their hands on or near the client’s body, starting at the head and completing a full body scan allowing the Reiki energy to flow through the practitioner and recipient to shift and open any blockages.  Different sensations will vary with each person and their treatment- feelings of deep relaxation, warm, tingling, different “vibes” like flowing heat may be experienced.

Reiki detoxifies the body, heals and eliminates stress, relieves physical and emotional blockages. Reiki energy can be used to help us with meditation practices, spiritual growth, healing relationships and manifestation of goals.

So you can see, it starts with you, your thoughts, your actions and your commitment to yourself.  Don’t let fear stop you from a life full of balance, harmony, joy, happiness and self-worth.  The more you are willing to learn and apply to your life, the more balance your energy becomes, the better it gets!

Are you still with me, if you have read this far, you are ready for the next step. One of the biggest fears that keep us from moving ahead with our lives, is our difficulty in making decisions; have you ever felt like a donkey between two bales of hay—unable to decide which one you want, and, in the meantime, starving to death—the irony, of course, is that by not choosing, you are choosing—to starve.  You are choosing to deprive yourself of what makes life a delicious feast- It is simply what we have been taught, “be careful-you might make the wrong decision”.

Are you afraid that the wrong decision will deprive you of something, money, friends, lovers, status or whatever the right decision is supposed to bring you?
All you have to do to change your world is change the way you think (thoughts) about it. You are not a failure if you don’t make the perfect decision with the perfect outcome, you are a success because you tried… the knowledge that you can handle anything that comes your way is the key to allowing yourself to make decisions, action is the key to your success, educating yourself with a new mind-set… positive thoughts is the beginning and shifting of your life force (energy).

A powerful exercise to start and process change is with daily affirmations, make a decision to be “willing to learn and change”. (Awareness) Shifting a few gears in your life such as taking a moment every morning to read and apply affirmations– is a good start!  Repeat it often throughout your day; you can touch your throat as you say this.  The throat is the energy center (chakra) in the body where change takes place.  By touching your throat you are delivering energy and acknowledging you are in the process of changing.  Recognize your thoughts and words you are using throughout your day, “how do they serve you?”  The universe totally supports us in every thought we choose to think and believe; “the law of attraction”. Put another way, our subconscious mind accepts whatever we choose to believe.  They both mean that what you believe about yourself and about life becomes true for you, and in return every thought affects your energy body to your physical body. We have unlimited choices about what we think, when we know this, then it makes sense to choose “everyone is always helpful,” rather than “people are out to get me.”

Remove that “fear-vibration” out of your life and get to know your “spiritual self”. I have given you some tools to work with, practice them in your daily routine, experience the shift, the change and the vibration of life move to a higher level.
